Grant by Thomas Goldyng of London, gentleman, and Walter Celye, of Havering in the county of Essex, esq., to John Grene of Mapelstid in the said county of Essex, "husbandman," of 3 roods of meadow in Sible Hedinghame in the said county of Essex and situated below the water running from the "la Rewe Mille" in Hynnyngham to Huxford on the one part, and the lane leading from the said mill on the one hand to the manor of Hawkewodes in Hedingham Sible aforsaid on the other, and abutting at the head of the other bank of the river; which the grantors had of the gift of Edward VI by letters patent dated 12 November, 2 Edward VI. With appointment of Ralph Agarde as their attorney to deliver seisin. Given on 1 January 2 Edward VI. Endorsed with note of delivery of seisin and witnesses.
